Mr. Nurenberg's Japan Pages

Welcome and Konichiwa (good day)!

Watshino namaywa Nurenberg-Sensei-des (my name is Mr. David Nurenberg) and I teach World Literature at Concord Carlisle High School in Concord, Massachusetts. For almost a decade our school has maintained a rewarding sister-city relationship with the Japanese town of Nanae on the island of Hokkaido (itself a "sister state" to Massachusetts). I have created this page to help my students, and anyone else, explore my experiences with fascinating culture of Japan.

Choose from any of the links below to explore a photodiary, annoted with some facts about Japan and our visit to it.
